Two Internet Safety Booklets for Parents Launched

Thursday 20th September 2007,  the Minister of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Brian Lenihan launched two new booklets on internet safety: A Parent's Guide to Filtering Technology and an update on A Parent's Guide to New Media.

These booklets developed by the IAB are aimed at promoting an understanding amongst parents of filtering technologies to help protect their children and new media technologies so that they can share in their children's digital livess.

These booklets will be distributed at the NPC and NCTE Internet Safety seminars for parents. They will also be distributed through libraries and through the Department of Justice and Law Reform. You can download them here by clicking on the images below.
