The Wild Web Woods is a fun and friendly online game which helps kids learn basic internet safety skills.
Aimed at children of between seven and ten, young people enter a fairy-tale environment where the object is to reach E-city.
Along the path, players will be faced with mazes, puzzles, tasks and other dangers – all geared towards encouraging safe internet use.
Not only that, but kids will also be introduced to notions of human rights and respect for others.
The game is based on the Council of Europe's Internet Literacy Handbook, which includes fact sheets on internet safety, as well as tips for parents and teachers.
Wild Web Woods is designed to help children indentify internet traps so they become experts at avoiding them.
Webwise highly recommends the game to young people.
