Children’s perspectives on ‘self-generated’ sexual material – New Research

Research on “Child ‘self-generated’ sexual material online: children and young people’s perspectives.” has been published by WeProtect Global Alliance, with Praesidio Safeguarding.

The research hears the views of over 200 children and young people from Ireland, Thailand, and Ghana on the issue of ‘self-generated’ sexual material in three different country contexts. The data gathers their general thoughts about how and why ‘self-generated’ sexual materials were shared, their views on responses to this issue and their ideas on how this could be improved.
