NEW: A Parents’ Guide to Generative AI

Practical advice and guidance on safely and responsibly navigating Generative AI. This guide was developed in collaboration with the ADAPT Centre and the National Parents Council.

It provides information, advice and conversation starters about the benefits and risks they need to be aware of when using the internet. Topics explored in the guide include cyberbullying, screen time, sexting, social media and online pornography. 

A family agreement is a great way to agree rules about the Internet and technology use at home.
Our free Family Agreement Template can be a great way to start a conversation with the whole family about how you all use the internet.
 

These Talking Points have been created by 35 members of our youth panel in consultation with over 140 students from across Ireland to help parents approach the conversation in a way that will encourage your child or teen to open up about their life online!
