SID Ambassador Leadership Award Winners 2021

We are delighted to announce that the winners of the 2021 SID Ambassador Leadership Award are Niamh Clerkin and Briana Mac Cinna from St. Louis Secondary School, Co. Monaghan. In their Safer Internet Day campaign they demonstrated the SID Ambassador values of respect, leadership, commitment, inclusion and teamwork.

SID Ambassador Leadership Award 2021

The Ambassador Programme empowers students by providing them with opportunities to develop leadership, human-relations, team-building and communication skills. Students make a commitment to lead by example, demonstrate respect and responsibility, and engage in community service.

Congratulations to the primary, and post-primary, winners in the Safer Internet Day Awards 2020! Hundreds of students and schools from all over Ireland entered the awards, which recognise the incredible efforts of young people to highlight Safer Internet Day and to help create a safer, better internet.

Safer Internet Day Awards 2020 – Primary Winners

A record number of students and schools entered the Safer Internet Day Awards 2020. The competition recognises the work that has been done to create awareness of Safer Internet Day, and to promote online safety generally. Thousands of entries were submitted from across Ireland, with an exceptionally high standard of effort to create a safer, better internet for all.
