Past Webwise Safer Internet Day (SID) Ambassador and Youth Panelist has developed an app which promotes safer internet usage with children.
The Ambassador Programme empowers students by providing them with opportunities to develop leadership, human-relations, team-building and communication skills. Students make a commitment to lead by example, demonstrate respect and responsibility, and engage in community service.
The Safer Internet Day Ambassador Training Day took place on the 10th of January in Google Headquarters in Dublin. It saw 130 students come together to learn new skills and ideas for running their own internet safety campaign in their school, clubs or organisations.
